Van Dam Industries has been involved in the fabrication of steel structures for residential and commercial buildings since the beginnings of our company in the early 50’s. The company had originally started as an enterprise for manufacturing steel and aluminum sidings for the first high rise buildings of Venezuela; though after acquiring a state-of-the-art fabrication process machinery line, the company quickly began to participate in the engineering, fabrication and erection of most of the iconic high rise buildings of Venezuela and Latin America. Some of the works include the Steel Structure for the 54 storeys “Parque Central” twin towers (the tallest building in South/Central America for many decades, the “Torre Metalica in Chacao”, the steel reinforcement of the “Banco Consolidado, Banesco” tower, the “El Marques” shopping center, the concrete-steel structure of the “Iserra shopping center” in Bogota Colombia, among others.
Van Dam has been involved in the design and construction of mass-produced low cost (from 4 to 15 stories) residential buildings, as well as fabrication of sports complexes, stadiums and modular schools, reaching countries in the American continent such as Venezuela, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Aruba, Curacao, Surinam etc.
